Sana turns your spoken plans into tasks for Work and Play. Use Sana on iPhone, add dates and times, and choose colour or monochrome. The native Mac app is being prepared for release. Widgets are available on iPhone.

Voice tasks on iPhone

Tap the microphone and speak naturally. Tap the ribbon to finish, or tap outside it to cancel. Sana transcribes and organises tasks on your iPhone. Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions are required. Finish your phone call before recording.

Reminders on iPhone

Include a date and time when speaking a task. To schedule a manually typed task, long-press it and set its reminder date and time in the editor; manual add does not parse time phrases. You can also tap the time beneath a task to change it. Allow notifications in iOS Settings to receive reminders. Reminder preferences and sounds are in Profile.

iPhone widgets & appearance

Add Sana widgets from your Home Screen’s widget gallery. Change between colour and monochrome in Profile.

Task notes on iPhone

Long-press a task and choose Add notes/Open notes. Write headings, checklists and lists, add a photo or dictate text. Notes dictation needs microphone and Speech Recognition permission and available on-device recognition. Note photos are stored locally on that device and are not transferred by Sana’s task sync.

Trial & purchase on iPhone

Choose Start 3-day trial on the final onboarding page for 72 hours of access from the original verified transaction. You can also unlock Sana immediately with a one-time Apple In-App Purchase at the localized App Store price. No subscription or automatic charge. After the trial, task access, notes, voice capture, reminders and widgets require the unlock; your saved records are kept.

Restore purchase is available on the final onboarding page, the post-trial unlock screen and Profile while access is not unlocked. The compact lifetime card in Profile shows Restore. Use the same Apple Account that owns the purchase. Restoring an expired trial does not restart it. If prices do not load, use Retry loading prices or Load price and check connectivity. This website does not request payment.

Using Sana on Mac

Type a task in Work or Play; Command-N focuses a new task. Mac manual entry can recognise dates and times. To set a reminder explicitly, click the task title and choose Edit details, or right-click and choose Edit task, then enable Reminder and choose its date and time.

Choose Add notes/Open notes from the task menu. Notes support headings, checklists, lists, local images and on-device dictation when supported. Use the microphone or Tasks > Record Tasks (Command-Shift-Space) for voice tasks. Return finishes recording; Escape cancels. Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions are required for voice. Typed tasks work without them.

In the native Mac app being prepared for release, onboarding uses Next, Next and then Begin on Step 3 for the 3-day Trial. While access is not unlocked, Step 3 also offers Unlock Sana with the loaded localized price, or Load purchase price, and Restore purchase. Existing owners can choose Restore purchase without starting a trial. Profile and the post-trial screen offer the same purchase and Restore controls; the compact lifetime card shows Restore. Apple displays the localized price. A restored trial keeps its original 72-hour period. If Restore finds no verified purchase, keep your saved records and report the result; do not purchase again solely to test recovery. Change appearance and Reminders & sounds in Profile; allow notifications in macOS System Settings.

Backup & sync

Backup & sync is optional. Sign in to your Apple iCloud account and enable Backup & sync in Profile. When the service is available, Sana’s private CloudKit task journal transfers task data, including note text and the original speech text attached to tasks. Note image bytes and full transcript history are not included. A note photo stored on one device may be unavailable on another. Check the status in Profile; if sync is unavailable, keep using local tasks and do not assume another device is up to date.
