Privacy policy · Effective 9 October 2026

Remo — One Camera is developed by Abhiraman Bakshi. This policy describes the iPhone app’s handling of your information.

On-device processing

Photographs are developed on your iPhone. Remo does not upload your images to a developer-operated server or cloud image-processing service. No account is required.

Photographs and settings

Remo stores captured photographs, original comparison previews, thumbnails, capture details, and pending processing jobs in the app’s local storage. Preferences such as composition grid, capture pace, and onboarding completion are stored locally. Capture details can include device-provided image metadata such as exposure, ISO and image dimensions. Remo does not request location access or add GPS coordinates itself; photographs imported by you may already contain metadata.

Permissions

Camera access is used to take photographs. Add Photos access is used to save finished photographs automatically to Apple Photos. The system photo picker lets you choose individual images to import without granting unrestricted library access. Remo does not request microphone access.

No tracking

Remo contains no advertising, third-party tracking SDKs, or developer-operated analytics service. We do not collect or sell your photographs or personal information through the app.

Apple services and backups

Copies saved to Apple Photos may sync through iCloud Photos according to your Apple settings. Local app data may be included in device backups according to your backup settings. Apple operates those services under its own privacy policy.

Your controls

Revoke permissions in iOS Settings. Delete local photographs in Remo or saved copies separately in Apple Photos. Removing Remo removes its local app data, but does not remove copies already saved to Apple Photos or existing backups. Export important images before removing the app.

Support

If you contact us through GitHub support, the information you submit is handled by GitHub and may be public. Do not submit sensitive photographs or personal information. This website is hosted by GitHub Pages; GitHub may process technical request information under its own privacy policy.

Changes

Updates to this policy will appear here with a revised effective date.
